Right below the swimming area of camp, the Tuolumne river splits and forms Bachelor Island. Years ago Bachelor Island was home to 11 tent cabins, but an especially severe winter storm in the late 1980's washed them all away!

Today the island is a peaceful way to relax with Adirondack chairs and a porch swing for two. Come listen to the river in the morning and do Yoga, read, or just relax.

Sunday evening there is an Adult Social Hour from 5:30 to 6:30pm. We serve hors d'oeuvres and non-alcoholic beverages.
