On Fridays, Lower Beach is the place to be for s'mores, storytelling, and camp songs as campers come together for Campfire night.

At other times campers can be found gently swinging on a swing built for two, playing a spirited game of bocce ball or horseshoes, or simply reading a book.

Lower Beach is also a great spot for swimming or wiggling your toes in the cool Tuolumne River while slouched down in one of the many Adirondack chairs found throughout the camp.

Some have also considered this the ideal location for a wedding ceremony!!
