CAMP RECREATION LEADER

Under the supervision of the Camp Activities Supervisor, leads and direct specific social, recreational, and athletic programs.

Must have paid or voluntary experience which demonstrates the ability to lead a variety of outdoor recreational activities.

CAMP OFFICE CLERK

Performs all of the clerical duties at Camp. Helps to serve meals in the Dining Hall. Sometimes performs basic maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, unplugging commodes, carrying bedboards to cabins, etc.

Experience in typing, filing and computer data entry desirable. Proficient in Microsoft WORD and EXCEL. Also must be willing to learn EZCAMP, word processing, and other data entry software programs.

CAMP ASSISTANT

Camp Assistants are usually assigned to one of the following areas:

Dining Hall
Meal Service/Kitchen
Maintenance

**Specific job duties for each of these positions are detailed below....

The required knowledge and abilities may vary according to assignment which could be either food service or camp maintenance. Desirable to have some knowledge of cooking methods and serving meals to large groups, of building and janitorial techniques, abilities to use basic tools. Lifeguard Training is desirable, but not required. Must be at least 16 years old prior to the start of the camp season.

(6 - 8 positions) 

* Set 48 to 60 plates at each meal
* Serve food to 45 to 60 campers each meal
* Clean up spills and wipe tables
* Sweep and mop floors under 4 to 5 tables after meals
* Return leftover food to kitchen
* Sing greetings with other staff to campers during meals

(7 positions)

* Wash dishes, pots, silverware and cups after each meal
* Wash, peel and cut fruits and vegetables
* Clean ovens and mop floors
* Carry heavy pots and pans
* May prepare meat and breads
* Empty 50 lb. garbage cans
* Unload produce trucks and stock food items
